.001 started the collaboration between Factioned and Brooklyn based Observed. “Are We Doing It Right” focuses on the art world, and what makes art, well, art. The commodification of art vs the intention of the artist. Is a beautifully crafted NYC trashcan Art because we say it is? We think the answer is yes.

There is much to explain regarding the man you see pushing the art around the streets of NYC. He’s the custodian of the art; cleaning it, protecting it. He begs the question, do we need a museum to view art, or can we put it in the public sphere? Does custodian = museum? [mind explodes]
